Low-Tack Archival Photo Tape

Definition: A specialized, acid-free adhesive tape designed with minimal adhesion (low tack) so it can be applied and removed safely without leaving residue, tearing paper fibers, or lifting fragile photographic emulsions.

  • Primary Function: Used during digitizing and framing to hold delicate prints, slides, or negatives flat without damaging the original media or introducing harmful chemicals that degrade paper over time.
