Stereoview Card (Stereograph): A 19th-century photographic format consisting of two nearly identical images mounted side-by-side on a cardboard mount. When viewed through a stereoscope, the brain merges the slightly different perspectives into a single 3D image. When digitizing stereoviews with a camera, it is vital to keep the card perfectly level and parallel to the sensor, ensuring both left and right images are captured with uniform focus, lighting, and geometric alignment.
